USTA League Tennis
USTA League Tennis, is the country’s largest recreational tennis league, providing organized, competitive matches for players at all levels. The program offers several different leagues to engage adult players of all ages and both genders so they can play singles, doubles or mixed doubles with opponents of similar ability. USTA Leagues include:
• The Adult League, for men and women age 19 and older
• The Senior League, for 50-plus players
• The Super Senior League, for 60-plus players
• The Mixed Doubles League, for men and women 19 and older; played as one man, one woman team
To ensure that opponents are evenly matched, players compete against others in the same National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) category. USTA League Tennis, features local, area, region, and sectional championships that culminates in a national or regional championship.
We also offer a Mixed Senior, Super 70, Adult Combo and Senior Combo League which is exclusive to the USTA Florida Section.

USTA Florida Section Rule Changes - Effective for the 2010 League Season
Restriction on the number of players at a lower level playing on a team
• What: Teams must have at least 75% of the rostered players at the team level
• Where: League programs in the Adult, Senior, and Super Senior divisions using the straight level format (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, etc.)
• When: Beginning with the 2010 Championship year, including Early Start Leagues
• Why: To provide more competitive matches and leagues, because of complaints about travel/expense in non-competitive matches, and to improve the quality of NTRP ratings
• Possible Effects: May initially reduce participation levels and teams in some leagues; however, many players playing up a level do not also play at their level. But, overall participation may not be impacted significantly if players return to playing at-level. In the long-run, better quality programs resulting from more competitive matches and leagues may increase overall participation
