Words to the Wise
Kathy Woods
1.     Plan to play tennis at least through your 80s.
2.     Decide what you expect from tennis & try to strike the right balance between regular play, fun, social activity, instruction, & competition.
3.     Find a tennis facility in which you feel comfortable & where the people are friendly.
4.     Enlist the help of a tennis teaching professional to find compatible players, programs choices & competitive opportunities, & to help you improve strategy or technique.
5.     Begin your personal process of player development by learning how to play tennis after the age of 50.
6.     Tennis is a terrific physical activity. 
7.     Learning to rally well is good for your heart, & you will make lots of friends.
8.     Cardio Tennis is a blast.
9.     You don’t see many overweight tennis players.
10.
Do yourself a favor by supplementing y9our tennis with flexibility & strength training, along with proper warm – up & cool – down regimens.
